Alright, I think it's time for a new post because, well, frankly, I'm procrastinating. I've got a bit of a knot in my stomach because, according to the company I work for, "there's really not much work at all during August." Also news to me is that August actually starts on the 20th of July. I've scheduled 10 hours of work for the week which is very very bad because 1. When I'm not working, I go shopping, to cafes, to bars, and to other various places that require the handing-over of money and 2. When I'm not working, I am not making money.
Right.
On a lighter note, instant coffee is the worst thing ever invented. I even bought a slightly more expensive version, with fancy black packaging and pretty gold letters cause it looked like it was higher quality. Well, I'm glad my marketing degree taught me something. This coffee is AWFUL. Back to $5 lattes I guess. Or buying a coffee machine which is just plain silly since I'm not going to lug that back on the plane with me.
What else... yes, another boy I started hanging out with has confessed to me his hatred for America. And he doesn't understand why I don't want to see him anymore. His anti-americanism was the least of his problems, too. Was nice to have some free meals/drinks/cab rides in a time of poverty, though.
Not quite sure what to do with myself today. I know I shouldn't go shopping/to cafes/to bars/etc. I could eagerly look for new work which would be slightly silly because 1. I will work up quite an appetite and therefore spend lots of money on food and drink after the fact and 2. I wouldn't hire me for only few weeks worth of work. If anyone knows a family with children in the general London area, will you please tell them that you know a *great* babysitter? :)
Must do something with self!
